JAC 10th Admit Card Download: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the admit cards for the 2026 Matriculation (10th) Board Exam. The council has uploaded the admit cards on its official website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in. However, only the principals of the respective schools and colleges will be able to download the admit cards. Students must collect their admit cards from their respective schools.
JAC has instructed all school managements to download and distribute the admit cards to students in a timely manner to avoid disruptions in the examination process. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center without an admit card.
Exams to Begin on February 3
According to the schedule released by JAC, the 10th Board Exams will be held from February 3, 2026, to February 17, 2026. All exams will be held in the first shift. The exam timings are from 9:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students will also be given additional time of 15 minutes to read the question paper.
When will practicals begin?
After the completion of the exams, practical and viva examinations will be conducted at the school level from February 24 to March 7, 2026. This year, the exam will be conducted using a question-and-answer sheet. OMR sheets will not be provided by the Council. Students will also have to write their answers to multiple-choice questions in the answer sheet.
The total marks for the exam are divided as follows: 30 percent marks are allocated for multiple-choice questions, 50 percent for short and long-answer questions, and 20 percent for internal assessment. Principals can download the admit card by visiting the JAC website, clicking on the “Download Admit Card Secondary Exam 2026” link, logging into the Class 10 exam portal, and downloading the admit card. The admit card will then be printed and made available to students. JAC has appealed to candidates to reach the examination center on time and follow all necessary guidelines.
