29 matches of IPL 2021 have already been organized, after which the league was postponed due to the spread of Corona infection among the players.

Hemang Amin, the interim CEO of BCCI and COO of IPL, is ready with 2 schedules to host the remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021. The BCCI is keen to organize the remaining 31 matches of the 14th season of the tournament between September and October. 29 matches of IPL 2021 have already been organized, after which the league was postponed due to the spread of Corona infection among the players.

According to TOI report, Hemang Amin has drafted 2 schedules for the remaining matches of IPL 2021. First, England has been made keeping in mind, and secondly, UAE has been planned. Now it is up to the Indian Cricket Board to decide where to organize the tournament. It is expected that a decision on this can be taken in the SGM meeting of the BCCI to be held on May 29.

2 schedule for IPL 2021, decision on 29 May?

The 13th season of the IPL was a successful event in the UAE. There was a demand to organize IPL 2021 in UAE itself. But the top officials of the BCCI made up their mind to have it in 6 cities in India. The result was that the tournament had to be postponed in the middle. However, now Amin is ready with 2 schedules for the rest of the matches, which he will put on the table of BCCI SGM meeting on 29th May.

UAE first priority, 3 reasons

According to the Times of India, before the BCCI, Amin will propose to conduct the rest of the tournament in the UAE with the Proprietorship and there are 3 reasons for this.

First, having a tournament in England can be risky because the month of Mid September is the monsoon season there. In such a situation, there will be a danger of getting washed in the rain of matches. Beyond this the weather in the UAE will be warmer in September.

Second, organizing the league in England is a costly deal compared to the UAE. Because, BCCI will have to pay there in pounds. Whereas in UAE the cost in dirham will come down.

Thirdly, IPL events have been held in UAE before and they have also been successful. The 2014 IPL matches were also played there before the last season was held. From last season’s event, he also has experience about what kind of biobubble is needed for IPL in hotels.
