Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who will be on a three-day visit to Karnataka from February 10-12, will hold a massive rally in Bengaluru on February 10.
Congress secretary incharge Karnataka Madhu Goud Yashki added, “So far, we have decided that Rahul ji will address a big public meeting in Bangalore. We want to start with a bang. Rahul ji will be on a three-day tour of Karnataka from February 10 to February 12 and the tour plan is still being worked out.”
With the Battle of Karnataka heating up, Congress leaders also make it clear that their campaign will focus on the issue of development only.
Congress MP KC Venugopal said, “BJP has no other agenda that’s why they are only talking about Hindutva agenda. They are talking about it because they don’t want discussion on development and other social reforms. We will fight the state election on the issue of development.”
Meanwhile, Mallikarjun Kharge added, “We are not seeking a certificate from Yogi Adityanath. We will concentrate only on the issue of development and we will highlight what we have done for them and what Central Govt hasn’t done for the betterment of Karnataka.”
While MP Oscar Fernandes, who was also part of the crucial strategy meet, added, “Our campaign will be based on development and peaceful atmosphere in Karnataka. We will tell people of Karnataka what we have done for them and their betterment.”
