Central government’s big decision on corona – there will be no examination for next 10 days

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has taken another major step. Now there will be no examination in the country for the next 10 days. The order issued by MHRD states that academic calendar and examination schedule are important, but along with them the safety of students, their parents and teachers appearing in the examinations is also important.

The corona virus that started from China has now become a disaster for India. The cases of people infected with the corona virus are constantly increasing in the country. The government is also taking precautionary steps one by one to tackle the corona virus. School-colleges were closed earlier, and now examinations are also being postponed.

A letter to this effect has been sent by MHRD to the University Grant Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Council for Technical Education (NCTE) and the Central Council for Secondary Education (CBSE).

The MHRD has also ordered all educational institutions to postpone the examinations for 10 days. CBSE’s ongoing examinations have also been affected by this order of MHRD. CBSE has issued an order to postpone all examinations. The board has said that the new date for the postponed examinations will be announced after March 31.

New date announced for JEE on 31 March

At the same time, NTA has also announced to postpone the examination of JEE. The NTA has said that the new date will be announced on March 31, given the dates and circumstances of the board exams and other competitive examinations. Explain that in view of the fast growing cases of Corona virus, the government had already ordered the closure of all schools and colleges. So far, 160 cases of corona virus have been reported in the country.
