There is a 21-day lockdown in the country due to the Corona virus. Due to this lockdown, the economy of the country is being feared a big loss. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has given great relief from the government. He informed that under the Garib Kalyan Yojana, 1.70 lakh crores will be provided to the poor. The announcement made by Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to benefit the poor class, working class, women class, as well as the disabled, widow and elderly class.

Finance Minister said that we have requested the State Governments to use District Mineral Fund for medical screening, testing activity, awareness of corona and other works.



– There is 31 thousand crores in their welfare fund for construction workers and there are 3.5 crores workers, the central government has asked the state governments to help them in the event of a disaster, now there are such situations in the corona lockdown, using this money we State governments want to benefit them

Non-refundable advance will be allowed to withdraw 75 percent of the deposited amount or three months’ salary by changing the PF scheme regulation. Organizations with up to 100 employees whose 90 percent share is less than 15 thousand salary. 80 lakh employees and 4 lakh establishments will benefit.

7 crore families get benefit under Women’s Self Help Group under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, under Deen Dayal National Rural Livelihood Scheme, they will be doubled to Rs 20 lakh as bail free loan. This will benefit 63 lakh people.

At the same time, under the Ujjwala scheme, 8 crore BPL families will get free cylinders for three months.



At the same time, Rs 500 per month will be given in the account of about 20 crore women for the next three months. These amounts will be given in the Jan Dhan account.

– Nirmala Sitharaman said that Rs 1000 will be given for the elderly, widows and the disabled. This is for the next three months. It will be given in two installments. Direct benefits will be transferred to people of this class. About 3 crore people will benefit from this initiative.

-Nirmala Sitharaman said that the wages of workers under MGNREGA have been increased. This daily wage was Rs 182, which has now become Rs 202. It is expected to benefit 5 crore families.

Nirmala Sitharaman informed that 8.65 crore farmers will be given an installment of 2 thousand rupees in the first week of April. These installments are being given under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Please tell that farmers are given 6 thousand rupees annually.

Finance Minister Sitharaman said that Corona commandos who are fighting this war will be given life insurance of 50 lakhs.

The Finance Minister also told that the government has made arrangements to ensure that the poor do not go hungry. Nirmala Sitharaman said that under the Pradhan Mantri Anna Yojana, 5 kg additional wheat or rice will be available for the next three months. 80 crore beneficiaries will get the benefit of this. Apart from this, a provision of 1 kg of lentils has been made.



Earlier on March 24, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made several announcements related to the common people through video conferencing. Under this, cash withdrawal from ATM has been free for the next 3 months. This means that if you withdraw cash from any bank’s ATM, then there will be no charge on it. With this, the problem of minimum balance has also ended. At the same time, the Finance Minister has also announced to reduce the bank fees for all trade finance customers on digital business deal. This step has been taken to promote digital payments.

Apart from this, the government has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns and filling GST returns till June 30. Similarly, some relief has also been given in the IBC rules to protect companies from debt redressal proceedings. At the same time, the last date for linking PAN with Aadhaar has also been extended till June 30. Not only this, there has also been a change in the last date of filling the annual return of GST.
