7th Pay Commission: Big News! 4% increased rates of DA will be applicable from July 2022, know how much salary will increase, see details

Dearness Allowance 2022: An increased rate of 4 percent dearness allowance to central employees and pensioners has been implemented from July 2022.

New Delhi: On September 28, in the cabinet meeting, a 4 percent increase in Dearness Allowance (Dearness Allowance) for central employees and pensioners was announced. The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DOPPW) has issued a circular regarding the increased rates. Central employees and pensioners will get dearness allowance at the rate of 38 percent which will be applicable from July 01, 2022. About 1.16 crore employees and pensioners will get the benefit of the increased rates.

Increased dearness allowance will be added from July

Giving the gift of Diwali to central employees and pensioners, PM Modi had announced to increase dearness allowance by 4 percent on September 28. Now the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ welfare has issued a notification on October 10, saying that the increased rates will be applicable from July 01, 2022. This means that those who get a basic salary of Rs 18,000 will get about Rs 720 more than the month of July.

3,600 rupees allowance for 5 months will be available in November

The increased rates by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare have been implemented 4 months ago i.e. from July. With this, Rs 2,880 for four months can be issued in October at the rate of Rs 720 per month. If dearness allowance is transferred to the employees’ account in November, then adding November’s allowance will increase this amount from 2,880 to 3,600. In view of Diwali, the government can release the increased dearness allowance amount in the bank accounts of the employees in October. With the increased rates, now those earning a basic salary of Rs 18,000 will get Rs 720 more per month.
