7th Pay Commission: Big news for central employees, cabinet’s final seal will be taken on this day on DA

New Delhi. Central government employees are waiting for Dearness allowance (DA) for a long time. Now this wait is about to end. Government employees will be given the last three installments along with the increased DA in the salary at the end of September. Along with this, the facility of house building advance will also be available. About 52 lakh central employees and 60 lakh central government pensioners are again awaiting Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR). According to some media reports, a meeting of the Modi cabinet is going to be held this week. According to sources, in the upcoming meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can take many important decisions in his cabinet meeting. According to sources, along with expanding the Union Cabinet, Modi can also take a decision on the DA and DR of the central government staff.

Know how much DA will you get?

To know how much your salary will increase, you should check your basic salary. Also after this check your existing DA. At present it is 17 percent which will go up to 28% after DA restoration. Hence the monthly DA will increase by 11%. Therefore, the DA of a Central Government employee will increase to 11% of their basic pay with effect from July 1, 2021. The same formula will be applicable in the calculation of DR also.

Shiv Gopal Mishra of the National Council of JCM said that the DA arrears of class 1 officers would be between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. He said that if the level-13 i.e. 7th CPC basic pay scale is Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900 or The DA arrears of a Central Government employee will be between Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200, if calculated for the pay scale of Level-14.

These demands can also be fulfilled..

  • Health insurance scheme should be implemented for those central employees who are outside CGHS.
  • In the cities where CGHS is not available, the expenditure incurred by the pensioners should be reimbursed.
  • There should be a provision for reimbursement of the hospital.
  • Allowance should be given to the widowed wife of the employee.
  • Employees should get medical advance.
  • Government employees who came after 2004 should get the facility of General Provident Fund, 7 should be revised in Group Insurance Scheme.
