Now DA is 53 percent of basic salary. Also, dearness relief (DR) for pensioners is also 53 percent. DA is given to central employees, while DR is given to pensioners. If the government increases DA by 3 percent, then DA will increase to 56 percent.

The government will make this announcement before Holi. This time Holi is on March 14. The government will also release the installment of PM Kisan on February 28.
