7th pay commission: Good News! Central government employees, 90,000/ rupees will come in the account in the month of November, know new updates

7th pay commission: In April last year, the Finance Ministry had stopped the payment of DA and DR (arrears) from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, in view of the corona epidemic.




7th pay commission: There will be a big Diwali for the 7th pay commission employees of the Central Government. Before Diwali, the Union Cabinet had given a gift to the employees by increasing the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 3 percent. This dearness allowance (DA) has been implemented from July 1. However, Central Government employees and pensioners have not received DA and DR (outstanding arrears) for 18 months from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. On which the PM can take a big decision by the end of November.

Earlier DA was increased at the rate of 28 per cent. With the increase in dearness allowance from July 2021, arrears will also be available. Central government employees will also get arrears with 31 percent DA, Central government employees will start getting the benefit of increased DA from October 2021. They will be paid at the rate of 31 per cent.

According to Union Minister Anurag Thakur, 31 percent dearness allowance has been implemented from July 1. Salary is received at the rate of 28 percent in the month of July, August, September. Now money will come along with October salary with 31 percent DA and 3 months arrears.

In April last year, the Finance Ministry had stopped the payment of DA and DR from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, in view of the corona epidemic. Due to which the central government employees and pensioners did not get DA and DR for 18 months from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. However, the government has made it clear that the arrears of these 18 months (January 2020 to June 2021) will be paid. Central Government employees and pensioners will not be given. Rather, the increased dearness allowance will be effective from July 1.

According to Union Minister Anurag Thakur, there will be a burden of Rs 9488.74 crore on the exchequer on payment of 31 per cent DA and arrears. In January 2020, the dearness allowance was increased by 4 percent. Then it increased by 3 percent in June 2020 and 4 percent in January 2021. However, due to Corona, the government had banned the increase of three dearness allowances from January 2020 to June 2021. In July, the government released it simultaneously at the rate of 28 per cent. This has been increased by 11 percent. After which once again in October, the increase in diyas was done by 3 percent, due to which the diya has increased to 31%.

The DA of central government employees has been increased twice a year. If the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18,000, he is currently getting Rs 5,040 as dearness allowance. This amount is 28 percent of the basic salary. After 31 percent DA, the employee will get Rs 5,580 as DA. With the increase in basic pay, the total amount of dearness allowance will also increase. On an annual basis, the salary will increase by Rs 6480.
