DA Hike Latest Update: The next DA will be announced by the cabinet only on the basis of May and June figures. But the dearness allowance to be implemented from July 2023 has been known.
7th Pay Commission DA Hike: Central employees will get the next DA Hike from July 1. However, it is expected to be announced by the government in September or October. Actually, the data of AICPI index till the month of April has come. The next DA will be announced by the cabinet only on the basis of May and June figures. But the dearness allowance to be implemented from July 2023 has been known. Now it has been confirmed that this time the dearness allowance will be increased by 4 percent.
DA figure will cross 46 percent
Actually, one of its formulas has been known. It is clear from the calculation done on the basis of this that this time there is going to be a definite 4 percent increase in DA. According to experts, the way the movement is coming in the price index ratio, the DA seems to be increasing from 42 percent to 46 percent. Now the April numbers have come and the AICPI index has reached 134.2 points. Apart from this, the DA score is at 45.06. The index is expected to reach 46.40 in the next two months. This means a 4% increase in DA is fixed.
AICPI index was 132.3 points in December
In December 2023, the figure of AICPI index was 132.3 points, due to which the DA score was 42.37 percent. When the index reached 132.8 in January, the DA score increased to 43.08, which means there was a jump of 0.71 points. After this, DA also increased by 0.71 point in February. This figure stood at 0.67 in March and 0.60 in April. If we look at the average figure, there has been a jump of 0.6725 points in the index and DA.
Talking according to the above calculation, there will be an increase of 4 percent again under the 7th Pay Commission. With this, DA hike will increase to 46 percent. It will be announced in September or October but it will be implemented from 1 July 2023. From July 1, central employees and pensioners will get their arrears.
