Your name should be written in it. At the time of application, the rent agreement will have to be scanned and uploaded PDF copy of it.

Application process on website
To apply for an address change in the Aadhaar card, you have to visit the official site of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/. Click on Address Update Request (Online) here. As you do this, a new window will open. Click on the option of update address here. After this enter your Aadhar Card number and log in. Fill all the details here and upload a PDF copy of the rent agreement. Now proceed the process. After doing this, OTP (One Time Password) will come on your mobile. As soon as you enter it, press the submit button on the portal. This will reach your request department.

You can also apply offline
If you are having trouble in changing the address online then you can get this work done offline too. For this, you have to go to the base center. Here Aadhaar updation or correction form will have to be filled and submitted. With this, you will need to photocopy Aadhar card, PAN card, voter card or passport. The address will be changed in the Aadhaar card within a week or 10 days of the submission of details.
