Delhi Lockdown: Lockdown extended in Delhi for a week, ban will remain in force till 31 May

Delhi Lockdown: Lockdown has been extended once again in Delhi, the capital of the country.

Delhi Lockdown: In Delhi, which is suffering from Corona virus infection, has extended the lockdown for a week. Now it will remain in force till 5 am on 31 May. This information has been given by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.


CM Kejriwal has said that we will start the process of unlocking from May 31, if the continuation of cases continues for the next one week.

He said that when the second web came in the month of April, the first lockdown was imposed in Delhi. Within a month, due to the discipline of the people of Delhi and the hard work and struggle of the people of Delhi, the second wave of Corona seems to be weakening. We have not won the battle yet, but it is being overcome.

Kejriwal said that this wave of Corona seems to be weakening today. In the last 24 hours, the infection rate in Delhi has also fallen below 2.5%. In the last 24 hours, there have been 1,600 Corona cases in Delhi.


Kejriwal said that if we put the vaccine on everyone then the third wave will not come. We are planning to apply the vaccine to everyone as soon as possible. I am in talks with domestic and foreign companies regarding the vaccine. We are ready to spend from our budget.

The lockdown in Delhi was ending on the morning of 24 May, which has now been extended by a week. The first lockdown was implemented in Delhi on 19 April.
