How to update name, address, mobile number in Aadhar card in local language, here is the process

Aadhaar Card: Aadhar card is an important document for every Indian citizen and is like an identity card. Aadhar card is required for any financial transaction and even for availing government schemes. It contains the person’s address and biometric information.




Now Aadhar card will be issued in regional language:-

Aadhaar information is written in English, but now it will be available in many regional languages ​​as well. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in its latest update has announced to provide Aadhaar generation facility in several regional languages. Now the regional language card will be issued by the Aadhar card issuing body.

Time will take 1 to 3 weeks:-

After the current update, you will be able to get Aadhaar card in Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya and Kannada languages. If you are willing to change the language in your Aadhar card, then you have to apply online for the same. Depending on your language it will take 1-3 weeks for the language to be updated.




Update local language in Aadhaar like this :-

You can visit the Aadhaar Seva Kendra to get your local language changed in Aadhaar. Or you can also apply online for it.

  • First of all log on to the official website of Unique Identification Authority of India, or click on https://uidai.gov.in/.
  • Update Aadhaar will appear on the homepage, click on Update Demographic Data Online.
  • Then enter the 12 digit unique Aadhaar number and the captcha security code.
  • After filling the details, click on Send One Time Password (OTP).
  • Now enter the OTP and click on Login.
  • After logging in, press the Update Demographic Data button.
  • Here you choose your preferred regional language.
  • Update the demographics in the popup and submit. Make sure your name is pronounced correctly in the local language.
  • Similarly edit all the information and preview all the details before submitting the application.
  • An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, enter it.
  • After that deposit the fee of Rs 50. Once the payment is done, the new language update request in your Aadhaar will be successfully submitted.
