Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar card is counted among very important documents in India. Many works of people are done through Aadhaar card. At the same time, Aadhaar card is also used to get many facilities. Many times it has also been seen that people have to get their Aadhaar card updated as well.
In such a situation, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has made online updation of Aadhaar documents free of cost till June 14, 2023. Usually, there is a fee of around Rs 50 or Rs 100 for updating Aadhaar details. However, updating demographic details online through the official website of UIDAI will be free till June 14.

In fact, through UIDAI, those people are being encouraged to update their Aadhaar card, whose Aadhaar card has been made for 10 years and who have never got their Aadhaar card updated after its issuance.
Update online like this
- Log on to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ using the Aadhaar number.
- Select the option ‘Proceed to Update Address’.
- OTP will come on the registered mobile number.
- After this you have to click on ‘document update’.
- After this, whatever updation is to be done can be done.
- Finally select the ‘Submit’ button. To update the documents, upload the copies of the same.
- The Aadhaar update request will be accepted and a 14 digit Update Request Number (URN) will be generated.
The status of Aadhaar address update can be checked using the Update Request Number (URN). When updated, you can download the updated version and get a printed Aadhaar card.
