CBSE 10th, 12th Exam 2025 New Syllabus: According to the new syllabus by CBSE, for the students of class 10th, CBSE has prescribed a total of five compulsory subjects and two optional subjects. Similarly, CBSE has included 7 major learning areas in the syllabus for class 12th students.
CBSE 10th, 12th Exam 2025 New Syllabus: CBSE 10th class board exam has ended on 13th March, while 12th class board exam will end on 02nd April. Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started preparations for the 2025 board exams. CBSE has released the new syllabus for the new academic year 2024-25, which will be applicable from April 01, 2024. Students who are going to class 10th and 12th this year can check and download the subject wise syllabus by visiting the official website of CBSE, cbseacademic.nic.in. For better understanding, the board has also published the CSBE syllabus and other assessments in Hindi.
An official notice from CBSE said, ‘Schools are requested to share the syllabus 2024-25 available on the board’s website www.cbseacademic.nic.in with all students and teachers. How much will CBSE 10th-12th syllabus be changed?
According to the new syllabus by CBSE, CBSE has prescribed a total of five compulsory subjects and two optional subjects for class 10th students. Similarly, CBSE includes 7 major teaching areas in the syllabus for class 12th students which include Language, Humanities, Maths, Science, Skill Subject, General Studies and Health and Physical Education. CBSE further said, ‘There will be no change in the syllabus and textbooks of other classes for the academic year 2024-25 starting from April 1, 2024.’

Step 1: First of all go to the official website of CBSE https://www.cbse.gov.in/.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the academic website and click on ‘Curriculum for the Academic Year 2024-25’ in the menu.
Step 3: Now click on the link ‘Secondary Curriculum (IX-X)’ for 9th and 10th Curriculum and click on the link ‘Senior Secondary Curriculum (XI-XII)’ for 11th-12th.
Step 4: Here in the drop down you will get the subject wise syllabus, check and download it.
New syllabus and books will be released for CBSE 3rd and 6th
Let us tell you that meanwhile, CBSE has said that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will release a new syllabus and books for classes 3 and 6. The new syllabus is currently under development and will be released soon. Joseph Emmanuel, director (academics) of the board, said, ‘After the release of the new syllabus, schools are advised to follow these new syllabus and books for classes 3 and 6 in place of the books published by NCERT till the year 2023. .’
