Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the notification for Combined State/Senior Subordinate Service (PCS) Examination, Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF), and Regional Forest Officer (RFO) Service Examination. Under this, the registration process for the preliminary examination will start soon.
UPPSC has decided to conduct PCS 2025 exam for 200 vacant posts. Last year this number was 220, but this year it has been reduced. The commission has said that the number of posts may change as per the requirement. Under this recruitment process, recruitment will be done on various high level government posts like Sub Registrar, Prosecuting Officer in Transport Department, District Basic Education Officer, District Accounts Officer, Senior Spokesperson, Chemist and Management Officer.
Educational Qualification
To apply for this exam, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Specific qualifications have also been prescribed for some special posts, such as a degree in law for the post of Sub Registrar, B.Com for Audit Officer and M.Sc for Chemist post.
Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates to apply is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years.

This much application fee will have to be paid
The application fee for general and OBC category candidates is Rs 125. For SC/ST candidates, it is Rs 65. For Divyang (PH) category candidates, the fee is Rs 25.
How to apply
The link to fill the application form is being activated from today on the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in. Interested candidates can apply till 24 March 2025, and the application fee can also be paid till the same day. If there is any error in the application, then the candidates can correct their form till 2 April 2025.
