Vijay Deverakonda’s spy action drama Kingdom is all set for an OTT release in less than a month. Directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, the film was originally released in theatres on July 31. It received a mixed response from the audience. The film is all set to stream digitally on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Kingdom OTT Release: Many films were released in the year 2025, but it is not that all of them lived up to the expectations of the audience. Some films garnered a lot of buzz before release, but could not do anything special at the box office. One such film was the Telugu language spy action thriller Kingdom starring Vijay Deverakonda.

Apart from Vijay, Satyadev, Bhagyashree Borse and Venkatesh are in the lead roles in Gautham Tinnanuri’s spy action drama. The film was released in theaters on 31 July. There was a lot of hype about the film earlier but it did not get that kind of response from the audience. The film received mixed reviews. Now less than a month before its release, the film is set to release on OTT.

On which OTT platform will it release?
Kingdom will release on Netflix on August 27 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. It will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Announcing this on social media, the official handle of Netflix India wrote, “In a kingdom of gold, blood and fire… a new king rises from the ashes.” Due to some title issues, Kingdom will be called Samrajya in Hindi.
What is the story of Kingdom?
Kingdom is a Telugu spy action thriller that follows a constable-turned-detective Suri (Vijay), who embarks on a dangerous mission to Sri Lanka in search of his lost brother Shiva (Satyadev). Arriving there, Suri inadvertently clashes with Murugan (Venkatesh), the son of cartel king Odiappan (Baburaj), complicating matters further. Helping Suri along the way is Dr. Madhu (Bhagyashree), who falls in love with him.
