LPG cylinder Price: LPG cylinder became cheaper by ₹ 51, check the new price

LPG Cylinder Price Cut: There is relief from inflation on the first day of September and oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of LPG gas cylinders from Delhi to Mumbai.

LPG Cylinder Price Cut: A good news has come in the beginning of September and LPG gas cylinder has become cheaper. Oil marketing companies have cut the price of cylinder by up to Rs 51.50. However, this time also the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder have been reduced. After the latest cut, now the price of a commercial gas cylinder in Delhi has come down to Rs 1580. Earlier in the month of August also its prices had come down. However, no change has been given in the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinder and they remain stable. After the change, the new prices have been implemented from 1 September 2025.

These are the new rates from today after the cut

According to the new rates updated on the IOCL website, after the cut on September 1, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in New Delhi has come down from Rs 1631.50 to Rs 1580. Apart from this, in Kolkata it was available for Rs 1734.50, which will now be available for Rs 1684. In Mumbai too, its price has come down from Rs 1582.50 to Rs 1531.50, while in Chennai the price of a cylinder has been reduced from Rs 1789 to Rs 1738.

The price of this cylinder is continuously decreasing

The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has seen a continuous reduction in the last few months. Earlier, in the beginning of August, giving a Rakshabandhan gift, oil marketing companies have reduced the price of this gas cylinder by Rs 33.50 across the country. Earlier, on July 1, 2025, the price of the cylinder was also reduced by Rs 58.

It is worth noting that the prices of LPG cylinders are reviewed by the oil companies on the first of every month and after that new rates are issued. These new prices depend on the international prices of crude oil, the status of the Indian currency rupee as well as other market conditions and come into effect from the first date. This reduction in the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder is a relief for hotels, restaurants, dhabas and other commercial institutions, which use commercial gas cylinders.

No change in the prices of domestic cylinders

While the prices of commercial gas cylinders are being continuously reduced, the 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder remains the same and its prices are unchanged. The price of 14 kg cylinder was last changed on April 8, but since then there has been no change in it. Currently, it is available for Rs 853 in Delhi, Rs 879 in Kolkata, Rs 85250 in Mumbai and Rs 868.50 in Chennai.
