Under the new GST slab, cars with a capacity of up to 1200 cc petrol and 1500 cc diesel, and cars shorter than 4 meters, will now be taxed at 18%. Previously, these vehicles were subject to a 28% GST. Vehicles with a capacity of more than 1500 cc and vehicles longer than 4 meters will now be taxed at 40% GST.

Immediately following the GST reduction, Mahindra updated the new prices across its dealerships and digital platforms starting September 6th, in anticipation of the festive season. This move by the government aims to pass on the tax savings to customers. These new rates will be effective from September 22, 2025.
