IRCTC Kerala Tour Package | Want to see the beautiful temples, beaches, and forts of Kerala? IRCTC Tourism is operating a special tour package through Vande Bharat train. You can enjoy spirituality, history, and natural beauty all at once in a three-day trip.
IRCTC Tourism is operating this tour package under the name North Kerala Temple Rail Tour. This trip starts every Friday. Boarding can be done from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Shoranur, and Kozhikode stations. Tourists from other regions, even if they book, should reach the boarding station before the start of the journey.
This trip mainly covers Kannur and Kasaragod areas. Vande Bharat Express has CC coach seats. Total two nights stay in hotel and two days breakfast is provided. On the first day, Friday, after reaching Kannur railway station in the afternoon, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, you can visit Trichambaram Temple and Sri Rajarajeshwara Temple. Stay overnight in Kannur.
On the second day, Saturday morning, after breakfast, you should go to Kasaragod. You can visit the temple located in the middle of Anantapur Lake and see the Madhur Sri Madanateswara Siddhivinayak Temple. After visiting Bekal Fort in the afternoon, you should return to Kannur in the evening and stay overnight in the same hotel.
On the third day, Sunday morning, after visiting the Parasinikadavu Sri Muthappan Temple, you will have to check out of the hotel. You can visit the Muzhappilangad Drive-in Beach, the only beach in South India where vehicles can go. You will have to reach Kannur Railway Station by 3 pm. From there, the return journey will begin.
The starting price of this tour package is Rs. 13,460. Discounts are available for groups of four or more. The package includes hotel accommodation, road transfers, travel insurance, and taxes.
