According to reports, the speed limit for light vehicles will be reduced from 100 kilometers per hour to 75 kilometers per hour. Similarly, the speed limit for heavy vehicles will be reduced to 60 kilometers per hour on the Yamuna Expressway and 50 kilometers per hour on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. This speed limit will generally apply from December 15th for the next two months. Therefore, it is advised to drive cautiously on these expressways to avoid accidents.

The police administration has issued specific instructions to commercial vehicles, asking them to strictly adhere to the new speed limits. Otherwise, strict action may be taken.
