SIR 2026 Voter List: Those voters who were not able to fill the SIR form i.e. enumeration form due to change of address or any other reason, can now apply to get their name added to the voter list.
How to add name in Voter List: The process of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) for scrutiny of voter lists is progressing rapidly across the country. After Bihar, the enumeration period for the second phase of SIR, which is being conducted for in-depth scrutiny of voter lists in 12 states and union territories, is almost complete. In this connection, the Election Commission is releasing the draft voter lists of Tamil Nadu and Gujarat today.
The number of voters whose names are missing from this draft voter list need not be large because the claim and objection period begins after the enumeration period, i.e., as soon as the enumeration work is completed. During this period, eligible voters who did not find a place in the draft voter list can file a claim with the necessary documents.
The process for claims and objections begins with the release of the draft voter list. Eligible voters whose names are not included in the draft list or have been removed due to a mismatch with the 2002–2003 SIR list still have the opportunity to add their names to the voter list or correct their details.

Such voters can complete the process of adding or correcting names in the voter list by applying online. The Election Commission has appealed to voters to check the draft voter list in a timely manner so that any errors can be corrected before the final voter list is released.
