Now, when booking flight tickets through the Paytm Checkin app, you can choose a cancellation add-on for ₹99 if your chosen flight is eligible for this feature. Previously, flight cancellations involved a struggle between airline penalties and refund rules, but with this new feature, ticket cancellation becomes much easier and more streamlined.
How does the ₹99 cancellation feature work in Paytm Checkin?
1) The option will appear at the time of booking
When you book a flight ticket through the Paytm Checkin app or website, this option appears as an optional add-on on the checkout page. If your chosen flight is available for this facility, you can choose it.
2) Add ₹99 and get a cancellation policy
If the option is available, you can add it to your booking by paying ₹99 upfront. This amount applies only to that specific booking and makes subsequent cancellations or refunds easier.
3) Cancel directly from the app
If your plans change, you don’t have to contact the airline separately. Simply go to the app and cancel your eligible booking. The full refund process will then begin.
4) Offers and Discounts apply separately.
Some seasonal discounts or bank offers may also be available, but these are separate from the ₹99 cancellation charge. It’s best to check the status of the ₹99 feature on the last page before taking advantage of any price offers on your travel booking.
