Therefore, if you have any important banking work to do, it’s important to plan ahead. Banks will be closed in cities like Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, and Gangtok on Friday, March 27, due to Ram Navami (Chaitra Dashain).

Earlier, on Thursday, March 26, banks were closed in several cities, including Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, and other major cities, due to Ram Navami. Banking operations have been somewhat limited this week due to the continuous holidays.

Despite bank branch closures, customers won’t face much inconvenience, as digital services will remain operational. You can transfer or withdraw money through net banking, mobile banking, UPI, and ATMs. However, check clearing, cash deposits, or other offline banking services will not be available on these days.

Additionally, banks will be closed in many cities on March 31st for Mahavir Jayanti. Therefore, if you have any urgent banking work, it’s best to complete it in advance to avoid any problems later.
