Delhi NCR Weather: To provide protection against this scorching heat, the India Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert. The Department has appealed to the public to avoid venturing outdoors during peak sunlight hours to safeguard themselves against heatstroke and other heat-related health issues.

According to the latest forecast by the Meteorological Department, there will be no relief from the heat on April 26 either. On this day, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 43 and 45 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to hover between 26 and 28 degrees. Strong heatwaves are predicted to blow from day through evening, making it difficult to venture outdoors.

On April 27, the sky will remain partly cloudy. Heatwave conditions are expected in isolated pockets. There is a possibility of very light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning during the afternoon. During the day, surface wind speeds will range between 30 and 40 kilometers per hour, potentially increasing to reach up to 50 kilometers per hour.

The weather is set to undergo a complete shift on April 28 and 29. There is a strong possibility of rain accompanied by heavy thunder during these two days. On April 28, the maximum temperature is expected to drop to 41 degrees, while the minimum will settle at 27 degrees. On April 29, it could fall further to 40 degrees; however, an increase in atmospheric humidity may lead to a noticeable sensation of mugginess.

Meanwhile, partial cloud cover and light rainfall are also expected on April 30. A significant drop in temperature could be recorded on this day, with the mercury expected to reach a high of 39 degrees and a low of 24 degrees. This implies that continuous rainfall is forecast for Delhi-NCR over four consecutive days—April 27, 28, 29, and 30.
