Bengaluru: Japanese student wants to go to jail to prove himself innocent, that’s why Japanese student stole chair from police office

This Japanese student came to Bangalore in 2019 to learn English. A few days after coming here, he had a fight with a man. After this, the whole controversy arose.

31-year-old Japanese citizen who came to India to learn English , committed a crime deliberately to expose a corrupt policeman. Hirotoshi Tanaka stole a steel chair from JC Nagar ACP office in Bangalore on Saturday midnight. Not only this, he took selfie of this ‘incident’ and took the stolen goods home. Tanaka did this because he wants the police to put him in jail.

In fact, Tanaka wants to expose the ‘corrupt’ policeman who implicated him in a fake case. However, the Karnataka High Court later dismissed the case. But now the authorities ordered Tanaka to leave India by 28 February but he wants to prove himself innocent by staying in India. For this he had the best … to arrest himself here.

Is a student of Japan, came to learn English

Hirotoshi Tanaka is a student of Japan who came to Bangalore to learn English in the year 2019. He was later taken into custody in a ‘fake’ case here. Later the High Court dismissed the FIR against him. But the Foreigners Regional Registration Office meant for foreign nationals asked him to leave India by 28 February. Tanaka says that I do not want to go insulted like this.

Wants to be in jail because …

Now after stealing this chair, Tanaka is saying that the police should arrest him but the police have not filed a complaint against him yet. Tanaka’s father was also a policeman in Japan. Tanaka says, ‘I am not in a position to live here. I spend about 30 thousand every month. It would be better if I fight for justice from jail where I will get food and medicines for free. ‘

The police were accused of asking for a bribe

that a few days after coming to Bangalore, a Tanaka man was heard from, allegedly accused of assaulting him. Tanaka says that the policemen sought bribes from him to defend the case. Later he was told that an FIR has been filed against him and he was arrested.

This is Tanaka’s demand that

he be released on the vine after spending 10 days in jail. In November 2020, the High Court dismissed the FIR. Tanaka demands that the police department bear the cost of his commuting and punish the corrupt policeman.
