That is why many vicious types of people are taking advantage of themselves by using the Aadhar card of others. If someone has mis-used your Aadhar card, then you can get into big trouble. But if you want to avoid this then you should lock your Aadhar card and biometric immediately. So that no other person can download your Aadhaar.
First of all download MAadhaar
To lock your aadhaar and biometric first you need to download MAadhaar app from google play store. When the app is downloaded, open it.
Set 4 Digit Pin
After downloading the MAadhaar app, you will have to enter your mobile number in it. After which you will get the option to set a 4 digit PIN. Which you always have to remember. Because whenever you open MAadhaar app again, with the help of this pin your app will be opened.
Log in with your Aadhaar number
After this you will see MAadhaar written in front. Under which you have to enter the Aadhaar number of 12 numbers. As soon as you fill the aadhar number. In the same way your digital Aadhar card will be revealed. After this you will see MY Aadhaar written on the bottom of the mobile. On clicking which option will come to enter PIN. As soon as you fill the PIN, a second screen will open in front of you.
Create Virtual ID
Before locking Aadhaar and Biometric, you have to create your virtual ID. Which you will see on the third number out of the 5 options given in front. Here you will have to give your mobile number and automatically an OTP will come on your mobile and automatically your virtual ID will be created. Write down this ID in a safe place.
Now Lock Aadhar and Biometric
With the help of Virtual ID, you can now lock your Aadhar Card and Biometric. In which after Aadhar is locked, no person will be able to download Aadhar card without your wish. At the same time, due to biometric locking, no one will be able to scan Aadhaar even by putting your thumb. Along with this, you can unlock Aadhaar and Biometric if needed.
