Air India Express has announced the resumption of flights from Navi Mumbai International Airport. Starting December 25, 2025, there will be daily flights to Bengaluru and five weekly flights to Delhi.
Air India Express Navi Mumbai Flights: There’s great news for travelers traveling to Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). Air India Express has announced that flights from this new airport will begin on December 25, 2025. This is the day when NMIA’s first commercial flights are scheduled to begin. The airline has launched services to Bengaluru and Delhi and has officially opened bookings.
In the initial phase, Air India Express will operate daily flights from Navi Mumbai to Bengaluru. Flights to Delhi will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This will provide connectivity to two major hubs in the country from NMIA.
Connectivity will increase in the new year.
The airline has confirmed that travel convenience will be enhanced starting in the new year. Starting January 1, 2026, flights will operate twice a day on both routes. This will provide passengers with options in both morning and evening slots and reduce congestion on the Bengaluru-Delhi route.

Alok Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express, said the airline is excited to participate in the first day of operations from NMIA. He said the airport will enhance the capacity of Mumbai and surrounding areas and drive new travel growth.
Air India Express’s network is rapidly expanding
According to a press release, the airline is continuously expanding its presence in Maharashtra. This includes 130+ weekly flights from Mumbai and 90+ weekly flights from Pune. Starting December 1, 2025, twice-daily service from Nagpur to Bengaluru will be introduced. This indicates that the airline is further expanding both its capacity and range with NMIA.
530+ flights from Bengaluru hub, new cities also added
Bengaluru has become Air India Express’s fastest-growing hub. The press release states that the airline now operates over 530 weekly flights from Bengaluru.
Recently, the airline launched new domestic flights from here to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jodhpur, and Udaipur. Along with this, direct international services have also been launched for Bangkok, Jeddah, Kuwait and Riyadh.
