Air India, IndiGo and SpiceJet issued travel advisory for passengers, check before traveling

Airlines issued travel advisory for passengers in view of heavy rains in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday. Due to heavy rains and gusty winds, air services were affected. According to the news, Air India, Indigo and SpiceJet updated the passengers. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department has predicted that rain will continue for the next few days.

Air India said – take extra time

Due to strong winds and rain this morning, flights to and from Delhi may be affected. Please check your flight status before going to the airport and keep extra time for your journey. Please check your flight status on airindia.com before leaving for the airport and plan your journey with extra time.

IndiGo warns about delays

IndiGo has also asked its passengers to be prepared for possible delays due to bad weather. In the advisory, the airlines said that due to heavy rains and slow traffic in Delhi, it may take more time to reach the airport. Please check the flight status and leave with extra time.

SpiceJet also issued an update

The domestic airline said in its statement that there is a possibility of disruption in flight operations due to bad weather in Delhi and Dharamshala. The airline advised passengers to check their flight status on spicejet.com/#status and stay alert for any changes.

Rain spell may last for next seven days

The India Meteorological Department informed that the intensity of rain in Delhi may increase today. This trend may continue till August 3. These days the sky will remain cloudy and there will be a possibility of light to moderate rain. The impact of rain was not limited to air services only. Due to continuous rain, many areas of Delhi were waterlogged, which affected the traffic system.
