Let us tell you, till now passengers could easily carry essential medicines and other essential items in their cabin bags in the flight, but now this will not happen in flights going to Dubai. Items made of ivory or rhino horn

Books and historical items:
Oil paintings, certain photographs and books
Stone idols and religious items
Other prohibited items:
Counterfeit currency
Homemade food
Some items you can bring in with a permit or fee
If you have prior permission or are willing to pay a fee, you can bring in:
- Fertilizers and plants
- Medical devices and some medicines
- Limited quantities of cosmetics and personal care products
- Wireless communication devices
- Alcohol, e-cigarettes and electronic hookahs
Drugs banned in Dubai
Now it is strictly prohibited to carry some medicines while traveling to Dubai. Below is the list of medicines which are banned to carry:
Betamethadol, Alpha-methylfentanyl, Cannabis, Codoxime, Fentanyl, Poppy Straw Concentrate, Methadone, Oxycodone, Trimeperidine, Cathinone, Codeine, Amphetamine
Caution is necessary
Check your hand bag and check-in bag thoroughly before leaving for Dubai. If any of these medicines are found in your bag, you may get into trouble. So pack everything light, but pack the right things.
