Airtel has launched two prepaid plans priced at Rs 399 and Rs 449. Both plans come with a validity of 28 days and include high-speed data, unlimited calling, and entertainment benefits. The company is focusing on users who heavily use video streaming, gaming, and social media throughout the day.
The Rs. 399 plan offers unlimited 5G data and 2.5GB of high-speed internet per day. This plan offers free local, STD, and roaming calls to any network, while also offering 100 SMS per day. For entertainment enthusiasts, it also includes a 28-day JioHotstar Mobile subscription, allowing them to watch movies, web series, and live sports. However, the unlimited 5G data benefit is only available in areas with 5G coverage.
The Rs. 449 plan is more attractive for users who require more data daily. This plan offers 4GB of high-speed internet per day along with unlimited 5G data. Its validity is also 28 days, and the calling and messaging benefits are the same as the Rs. 399 plan. For entertainment, it also offers 28 days of access to JioHotstar Mobile, but the highlight of this plan is the additional 30GB of Google One cloud storage, allowing users to store their files, photos, and data.
If you want to enjoy 5G speeds and OTT content on a budget, the Rs. 399 plan is ideal. For users who need more daily data and cloud storage, the Rs. 449 plan offers more value. These new Airtel plans are clearly aimed at competing with Jio and could prove to be a good option for data users.
Jio has two annual plans priced at ₹3,999 and ₹3,599. The ₹3,999 plan offers unlimited 5G + 2.5GB of data per day, 100 SMS per day, unlimited calling, and a validity of 365 days. It also comes with free FanCode, a three-month subscription to JioHotstar, and an 18-month subscription to Google Gemini Pro. The ₹3,599 plan offers the same benefits except for the FanCode subscription.
