Telecom company Airtel has discontinued its two popular prepaid plans – Rs 179 and Rs 279. In both these plans of the company, life insurance policies were being offered to the users. According to the report of OnlyTech, both these plans are no longer visible in the company’s app and on the website. In both these plans of Airtel, benefits like free calling and free SMS were available.
The benefits available in Airtel’s Rs 179 plan,
coming with a validity of 28 days, in this plan of Airtel, the company used to offer unlimited calling and daily 300 free SMS to any network across the country. For internet usage, 2 GB data was available in this plan. The biggest feature of the plan was that the company also gave monthly life insurance of Rs 2 lakh to its subscribers.
Airtel’s Rs 279 prepaid plan
This plan of Airtel also used to come with a validity of 28 days. In this plan, the company used to give 1.5 GB data every day with unlimited calling. In this plan with daily 100 free SMS, monthly life insurance of Rs 4 lakh was being given to the users. Additional benefits included in the plan included free subscription to Wynk Music and Airtel Xstream app.
Launched Rs 456 no-limit plan
Airtel has recently launched this great plan for the users. In this plan, the company is offering 50 GB data with a validity of 60 days. Users can use this data even in a day. Unlimited calling is being given to any network across the country in this plan, which gives 100 free SMS every day.
