PS 1 Hindi On OTT: Aishwarya Rai starrer Ponniyin Selvan Part One, released in late September, had come on OTT in South Indian languages long back. The film earned tremendously and was seen all over the world. Now this film has become available on OTT in Hindi language.
Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 Hindi: Good news for the audience waiting for South’s new films on OTT in Hindi. The Hindi version of director Mani Ratnam’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer film Ponniyin Selvan Part 1, released on the ticket window on September 30, has now come on OTT. The film is now available for the audience in five languages including Hindi. This film, which did a business of about 500 crores worldwide, is one of the most successful films of the country this year. Originally made in Tamil, the film was still available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada apart from Hindi. But now it has also come in Hindi audio. Earlier, along with the languages of South, it could be seen with English subtitles. But now those Hindi-speaking viewers who did not see this film in theaters can watch it on Amazon Prime Video.

Part 2 will come next year
Ponniyin Selvan is a film made in two parts. Its second part Ponniyin Selvan Part 2 will be released next year in 2023. It has been told that both the parts of the film were shot simultaneously by Mani Ratnam and now the VFX of the second part is going on. This work will be completed in time and Ponniyin Selvan 2 will be brought to the theaters on April 28 next year. The makers believe that the Hindi OTT release of Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 will benefit them immensely as the audience will get familiar with the story and then more and more people will want to watch the second part in theatres.
