Akshay Kumar: Sooryavanshi may release on Netflix and single screens and non multiplexes

It is a big budget film (Sooryavanshi), so no member attached to it wants to harm the film.

For the past several days, film director Rohit Shetty and the entire team of Reliance Entertainment are in talks with the national multiplex chains PVR, Inox, Cinepolis and Carnival. The producers and directors want the Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘Sooryavanshi’ to be released on April 2, the day of Good Friday. However, the stakeholders of the film are demanding that the film reach as much as possible. In such a situation, it is not appropriate to get more profit only through national chains.

After all these discussions, Rohit Shetty and his team have reached the final decision. The film will be released on April 2, but only on single screens and non-national multiplexes. Pinkvilla has written in her report quoting sources that the film’s team had been waiting for its release for almost a year, as they are committed to its release in theaters.

Don’t want the loss of the film
It is a big budget film, so no member associated with the film wants to harm the film. Since multiplexes do not agree with the terms issued by Rohit Shetty and Reliance, Team Suryavanshi has decided to release the film in cinemas on April 2.

However, the film will now be released only in single screens and non-national multiplex chains. Also, the big five national chains of PVR, Inox, Cinepolis and Carnival have been placed on standby. If the agreement between Multiplex and Suryavanshi team is reached by April 2, then this film will be released on all the big screens across the country.

Meanwhile, the news also came out that if the talk with the National Cinemas chains does not happen about the release of the film, then the makers can also turn to OTT platforms. It is reported that the Suryavanshi team had a conversation with Netflix, but the OTT platform has refused to buy Akshay’s film. Bollywood Hungama has written in its report quoting sources that the makers have only one objective to prove that Akshay’s film is a superhit. It is believed that if all was right, Akshay’s Suryavanshi could be released on single screens and non-national multiplexes as well as Netflix.
