Informalnewz Finance:The Income Tax Department is starting an e-campaign from Monday, under which it will directly contact people who either have not filed income tax returns by doing thick transactions or in any detail given in their returns.
The disturbances or shortages have remained. The Central Board of Direct Taxes said on Saturday that it was launching an e-campaign to contact such people from July 20, the board said that it had identified some people who had made very rough transactions. Despite doing so, have not filed returns for the assessment year or there are deficiencies in their returns.
CBDT said that by analyzing the data from the return filing till now, it has been reported that some taxpayers who have done a lot of transactions. But they have not filed returns for assessment year 2019-20. Apart from those who have not filed returns, many such people who have filed returns have been identified whose transactions with higher funds and their income tax returns do not match.
