Amazon Big Shock to Prime Customers….

Revealed that the previously available monthly subscription plan has been temporarily canceled. Amazon has similarly suspended its free trial offer to impress new customers. Subscription plans will be available to Prime customers for a period of just 3 months. Amazon said the decision was made in response to RBI’s new directives. It is learned that the RBI has directed banks and other agencies to implement the AFA (Additional factor of authentication) to allow OTT DTH and recharges to be transacted online.


Prime, which is subject to these regulations, has removed the monthly plan of Rs 129. This means that if you want to subscribe to Amazon Prime, only three-month plans worth Rs 329 and year plans worth Rs 999 are available. New users will have to subscribe to the three-month or year plan whether to take the pack or renew it.

To this end, on April 27, Amazon Prime made changes to its support page. However, the RBI initially intended to implement the decision from March 31. Banks, at the request of thousands of payment gateways, postponed it to September 30.
