PFRDA directed banks to stop auto debit of contribution of Atal Pension Yojana till 30 June 2020
Under the scheme, the investor will get a pension of 1000 to 5000 rupees every month when he is 60 years old.
new Delhi. From July 1, banks will resume auto debiting monthly contributions from the accounts of Atal Pension Yojana subscribers. The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has informed the subscribers of the scheme through an e-mail. It said that as stated in the circular issued on 11 April 2020, the PFRDA had directed banks to stop auto debit of contribution of the scheme till 30 June 2020. Due to this, installment of auto debit will start from the account from July 1.

view of Corona Crisis, PFRDA announced in the month of April that Auto Debit from subscribers’ bank account would be stopped till 30 June 2020.
No interest on repayment of contributions by 30 September
According to the PFRDA circular, contributions contributed during lockdown can be contributed between 1 July and 30 September 2020. The shareholders do not have to pay any penalty interest. Usually 1 percent interest has to be paid. Along with this, the contribution of the months of July, August and September should also be made simultaneously.
