Bad News: Taarak Mehta’s Nattu Kaka passes away, actor Ghanshyam Nayak lost his battle with cancer

Nattu Kaka, the beloved of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, is no longer in the world. He has died at the age of 77.

New Delhi: ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ veteran actor Nattu Kaka i.e. Ghanshyam Nayak is no more in this world. Ghanshyam Nayak was suffering from cancer for the last several months and now he has passed away. He had also had two operations a few months back. He is 77 years old. Due to age, he could not go for shooting daily but he was still a part of Taarak Mehta’s team.

Ghanshyam Nayak was born on May 12, 1944. He was 77 years old. He was ill for a long time and was fighting a battle with cancer. The team of Taarak Mehta is deeply saddened by the death of the actor. The producer of the show Asit Kumar Modi while sharing a photo of Ghanshyam Nayak wrote – Our beloved Nattu Kaka is no more with us.

Ghanshyam Nayak was battling cancer

Ghanashyam Nayak i.e. Nattu Kaka of ‘Tarak Mehta’ was dedicated towards work even at the age of 77 and used to entertain his fans a lot. The news of his illness came to the fore in the month of June. He was suffering from cancer for a few months and was getting his treatment.

Even though Ghanshyam Nayak got recognition from the role of Nattu Kaka. But in his career spanning six decades, he has played many memorable characters. He worked in many big films, among them ‘Beta’, ‘Ladla’, ‘Krantiveer’, ‘Barsaat’, ‘Ghatak’, ‘China Gate’, ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Lajja’, ‘Tere Naam’, Many films like ‘Khaki’ and ‘Chori Chori’ are included.
