The film ‘Badhaai Do’ stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar (Bhumi Pednekar), who have been shooting in Mussoorie and Dehradun since last month.
New Delhi: Junglee Pictures’ ‘Badhaai Do’ has caught the attention of the audience and every update related to the film has made more excited. The film is a part of the franchise of the film ‘Badhaai Ho’ released in 2018, which won the National Award and also received praise from the audience and critics. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, who have been shooting in Mussoorie and Dehradun since last month. The BTS pictures shared by the actors on their social media are being well liked by the fans and they are eagerly waiting to see a fun show with the release of the film.
Rajkummar Rao said, ‘It is great to work with Bhoomi. He is very talented and I have been following his work. He has grown a lot as an actor. I wanted to work with him but I was not getting good script. Then ‘congratulations’ came our way and both of us agreed.
Bhumi Pednekar says, ‘Raj has been a revelation for me. I thought he would be someone who would be very serious and a little introverted, but he is not like that – at least not in this film. He is a brilliant actor who enjoys working with. Both of us were looking for the right film to collaborate and hence there could be no better collaboration than ‘Badhaai Do’.
Talking about the film, Rajkummar Rao said, ‘Congratulations do is a wonderful script. We have a lot of fun shooting the film as it is full of great comedy and the characters are well engraved in it. I am playing the role of a policeman named Shardul Thakur. For the first time, I am playing the role of a policeman, so I am really looking forward to it.
At the same time, Bhumi Pednekar is playing the role of a PT teacher named ‘Sumi’ in the film.
‘Badhaai Do’ is directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni and produced by Junglee Pictures, written by Akshat Ghildiyal and Suman Adhikari.
