Bainama Registration Timing Change: The government has ordered the facility of “banama” registration in major cities on Sundays and daily until 8 pm. In Meerut, the Assistant Inspector General of Registration has prepared a Sunday roster for all four sub-registrar offices and sent it to the IG’s office for approval.
Bainama Registration Timing Change: The government has ordered to provide the facility of registering ‘Bainama’ in big cities on Sundays and till 8 pm every day. IG Registration has asked for the schedule for both these new arrangements from all the major districts of the state. In Meerut, AIG Registration has prepared a roster for opening of all the four sub-registrar offices of the city on Sundays and sent it to the IG office for approval. The office which used to remain open till 8 pm will start work from 1 pm in the afternoon. For this, the proposal has been sent by nominating Sadar II office. AIG says that this system will be implemented as soon as the approval is received from the government.

In addition to the online application and time slot booking for obtaining a token, the facility has also been extended to allow the deed of property in any neighborhood, colony, or market across Meerut city to be registered at any of the four sub-registrar offices. Now, going even further, it has been announced that deed registration will be available every Sunday and daily until 8 p.m.
Roster prepared in Meerut, awaiting IG’s green signal
The IG (Inspector General) of the Registration Department recently issued an order to open a sub-registrar office every Sunday and to facilitate the execution of deeds at a sub-registrar office daily until 8 pm in 19 cities where multiple sub-registrar offices operate in the city. Ghaziabad district was included in these 19 cities, but Meerut and Saharanpur were not. However, separate orders have now been issued for Meerut, Saharanpur, Kanpur Nagar, and Aligarh.
He has requested the roster from the Assistant Inspector General of Registration for all districts. Meerut city has four sub-registrar offices. A Sunday roster has been prepared and sent to the IG for approval. The Sadar II office has been proposed to operate daily from 1 pm to 8 pm. Both proposals will be implemented only after the IG’s approval. It is believed that this arrangement will come into effect after Holi as soon as the permission of IG is obtained.

The public will benefit from the facility of registering deeds every Sunday and daily until 8 pm. A roster has been prepared and sent for this purpose. Changes will need to be made to the departmental software after the IG’s approval. Only then will the relevant offices be able to issue time slots and tokens for Sundays and daily until 8 pm.
