Banks will be closed in Tripura, Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Nagaland, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Meghalaya on the occasion of Dussehra, Ayudha Puja, and Durga Puja (Dasin).

October 2, 2025 (Thursday)

Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti will be a national holiday across the country. Banks will be closed in all states and union territories on this day.

Banks will be closed in Sikkim only on account of Durga Puja (Dasin).

Banks will be closed in Tripura and West Bengal due to Lakshmi Puja.
