On Thursday, December 18th, all banks in Meghalaya will be closed to commemorate the death anniversary of Khasi poet U Soso Tham. Banking operations will be suspended in the state on this day. Bank branches will be closed on Friday, December 19th, due to Goa Liberation Day. Both government and private banks in the state will be closed on this day, preventing customers from visiting branches.
