These December holidays are due to national holidays, state-level festivals, and weekly holidays (Saturday and Sunday). According to the list released by the RBI, banking services will be closed on several important dates throughout the month, prompting caution from customers.

Banks will remain closed for 5 consecutive days in three states.
Banks in Nagaland, Mizoram, and Meghalaya will remain closed for five consecutive days next month. Banks will remain closed on December 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28.
Net banking, UPI will work
However, the silver lining is that net banking, mobile banking, UPI, and ATM services will remain available during the holidays. However, keep in mind that check clearing, passbook entries, demand drafts, and other counter-related services will be closed during these days. This means that if you have any important offline banking work, it’s best to complete it before the holidays.
