Bank Holidays: Banks will remain closed in these states today and tomorrow, check the list before going

New Delhi: There were a total of 15 holidays of banks closed in April, out of which many holidays have passed. Let us tell you that in many states today and tomorrow there are frequent Bank Holidays, so in such a situation, you must check before going to the bank. Let me tell you that banks will be closed in five states today. Along with this, banks were closed in most of the states due to Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti yesterday.

Why banks will remain closed – (Bank holiday list)

>> 15 April 2021, Thursday – Himachal Day, Vishu, Bengali New Year, Sirhul
>> April 16 – Friday – Bohag Bihu (Bank closed in Guwahati)

Banks will also be closed on 15 April 2021 in Agartala, Guwahati, Kolkata, Ranchi and Shimla. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on 16 April in Guwahati.

There were a total of 15 holidays this month.

According to the Holiday Calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), there were 15 holidays for bankers in the month of April, out of which the days for Good Friday, Ambedkar Jayanti, Tamil New Year and other Saturdays are already over. >> April 24 – Fourth Saturday, Banks will be closed
>> April 25 – Sunday – Mahavir Jayanti
