HDFC Bank has issued a downtime alert. Many services will be affected for some time between 19th and 26th August. Customers should be aware of this in advance so that there is no problem in future.
Bank Service Close: HDFC Bank is India’s largest private sector bank. Millions of people are associated with it. The bank offers many services. If you also have an account in this bank, then a big update has come for you. The bank has issued a downtime alert (HDFC Bank Alert). Some services will be disrupted for a few hours for four days between 19 and 26 August. Which includes UPI, HDFC Bank Debit Card, Credit Card etc.
Customers are advised to complete important work on time. After the stipulated time, all services will start again as before. Customers will be able to use them without any interruption. The bank has announced this due to maintenance in the system. During this time some updates will be made in the banking software. So that the customer can get the benefit of uninterrupted services and does not face any problem in transactions.
UPI service will be closed on this day
UPI service will be closed for a full 90 minutes from 12:00 AM to 13:30 AM on August 22. During this time, customers will not be able to do UPI transactions through HDFC Bank current and savings account, Rupay credit card, HDFC Bank mobile app. Merchant users will also face disruption.
These services will remain closed for four days
On August 19 and 22, from 1:00 am to 4:00 pm, customers will face problems in doing online transactions through HDFC Bank Debi, Credit Card, INR Prepaid, Forex Prepaid and Net Safe Card for a full 3 hours. Apart from this, these services will not be available for a full 4 hours from 1:00 am to 4:00 am on August 21 and 26.
Services were disrupted earlier too
On August 11, from 11:00 pm to 11:30 pm, ATM withdrawal, tap and pay, POS and ECOM transaction services were closed for HDFC Forex Card. At the same time, from 11:30 pm to 12:30 pm, ECOM transaction was closed for HDFC Bank Forest Card. On August 16, from 1:00 am to 5:00 am, debit card services were closed. Mutual fund services were disrupted from 2:00 am to 6:00 am and demat services were disrupted from 5:30 am to 7:30 am.
