According to the official website, several services will be closed at different times on November 7th and 8th. Customers should be aware of this so they can complete their important tasks on time. The bank has taken this step due to scheduled maintenance. During this period, several system updates will be made to ensure fast and secure banking services for customers. It’s a good thing that services will be disrupted during non-peak hours, which may cause problems with online transactions. Therefore, it’s recommended to complete important work related to these services before or after the scheduled maintenance period, and then use other services.
Two services will be closed on November 7th
All new HDFC Bank net banking services will be closed for a full hour on November 7th, from 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM. Customers will not be able to conduct net banking transactions during this time. Debit card view and statement download services will be closed for a full three hours, from 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM. Customers will not be able to check their monthly credit card bills or statements online on the bank’s app, website, or net banking portal, nor will they be able to download a PDF or digital copy. After the stipulated time limit, services will be available again as before.
UPI service will be down on November 8th
HDFC Bank’s UPI service will be down for four hours on November 8th. From 2:00 AM to 6:30 AM on Saturday, HDFC Bank current or savings accounts, RuPay credit cards, the HDFC Bank mobile banking app, and any HDFC Bank UPI service supported by TPAP will be unavailable. This will also impact merchant users. However, all other services will remain operational during this time. NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS transactions are available. Cash withdrawals are also available for debit cards.
