A new promo for “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain 2.0” has been released, revealing a new track for the show. This time, the story is set in a village called Ghunghatganj, where all the women live in veils and worship a cultured woman. In this village, there’s also an old British-era mansion, owned by Manmohan Tiwari’s aunt.
She asks her nephew, Tiwari Ji, to come to her and take over the mansion and her wealth. But she has one condition: She wants Tiwari Ji’s wife to be as modern as her. However, Tiwari Ji’s wife is Angoori Bhabhi, known for her naiveté and poor English. Thus begins a new chapter of lies. Tiwari Ji exchanges wives with Vibhuti Narayan Mishra to inherit his aunt’s estate.
Tiwari’s wife is now “Gori Mem,” or Ankita Bhabhi, who is modern. Vibhuti’s wife is Angoori Bhabhi. The promo shows the couple arriving in Ghunghatganj, but their troubles increase after arriving. The cultured woman there becomes angry. Thus, the show begins a “Stree”-style ghostly journey. “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain 2.0” will premiere on &TV on December 22nd. This time, the show features Shilpa Shinde, the OG Bhabhi, and the audience is excited to see her.
“OG Bhabhiji” Returns to TV
Shilpa Shinde played the role of “Angoori Bhabhi” on “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain” 10 years ago. She made the role popular with the audience with her acting. However, due to a dispute with the makers, she left the show. She was replaced by actress Shubhangi Atre.
Shilpa Shinde is returning after nearly a decade. Before the show’s new season began, she spoke about her return in an interview. Shilpa explained that she had never considered reprising the role of “Angoori Bhabhi.” When she was offered the show again, she immediately agreed. Her relationship with the makers has also improved over the years. Shilpa said she was running out of work. She was being offered many shows that weren’t as engaging, which she declined.
Shilpa explains that she would have to act like the old Angoori Bhabhi again, which was difficult for her. Regarding working with the old cast again, the actress said she had no problems working on set. Everyone welcomed her wholeheartedly. Shilpa said that whatever happened to her is in the past.
