BIG Breaking: UP board 10th and 12th examinations postponed, school colleges close to 12th till May 15

UP Board Examinations 2021: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave this order during the review meeting with Team-11. He said that when the situation improves, new dates will be considered in May.



Career Lucknow Seeing the growing case of Corona (COVID-19 Infection), Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi Adityanath) has taken a big decision to postpone UP board exams (UP Board Exams 2021). Now new dates will be considered in May. Earlier, UP board examinations were postponed due to panchayat elections. After which a decision was taken to conduct board examinations from 8 May. But once again the UP board examinations have been postponed. Now new dates will be announced only after the corona infection is reinforced.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave this order during a review meeting with Team-11 on Thursday. He said that when the situation improves, new dates will be considered in May. In addition, he ordered the closure of schools and colleges from class 1 to 12th till May 15.

Postponed examinations for the second time are

significant that this is the second time when board exams have to be postponed. The board examinations were to be held from April 24. But after the Allahabad High Court’s decision regarding reservation in panchayat elections, the examinations were postponed on the appeal of the Election Commission. After this, a new date sheet of examinations was released from 8 May.

Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma had already indicated

Significantly, on Wednesday, the Central Government canceled the CBSE High School examination, while the intermediate examinations were postponed. After the decision of the Central Government, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma had also indicated to postpone the examinations of UP Board. He said that it is not easy to take decisions in the context of UP. He had said that Prayagraj’s board of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council is the largest educational board in the world, in which about 56-57 lakh students of high school and intermediate sit every year. Our exams were scheduled from April 24, which had been scheduled from May 8 in view of corona infection.



 

17 officers involved in board examinations infected

Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that unfortunately there are about 19 officers associated with the board examinations, 17 of them are infected and they are all in hospitals. Additional chief secretary, three special secretaries, joint secretary, director and all the five deputy directors are infected.
