There was a major lapse in the security of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi in Purnia, Bihar on Sunday. During the bike rally of ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, a man came very close to Congress Rahul Gandhi and kissed him. This incident happened on Sunday, when Congress leader and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav went out on a motorcycle during his yatra. During this, he made serious allegations of ‘vote theft’ against the government and he is engaged in taking this issue to the public before the upcoming assembly elections.
Rahul Gandhi, wearing a helmet, was riding a Bullet, Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) president and Kutumba MLA Rajesh Kumar was sitting behind him. Tejashwi Yadav was also riding a separate motorcycle.

The incident also alerted the CRPF security personnel travelling with the Congress leader and they stepped forward to strengthen the security cordon around him. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media platforms.
People who attended Rahul’s rally were seen easily getting close to him, hugging and even pulling his hand while he was riding his bike. However, this incident of a man kissing Rahul Gandhi went viral.
Social media users pointed out several security lapses throughout the event. One person shared the pictures and wrote, “Security was broken several times in Rahul Gandhi’s bike rally. People were easily getting close to him and there were not enough security personnel to handle the crowd.”
