It will be very easy to use the new portal e-filing 2.0 on mobile phones. It is being told that a mobile app will also be launched for e-filing. Details of those who have been filling ITR before, can be obtained in the same way as before. Guidelines for using the portal will also be told to taxpayers through video.
The Income Tax Department has informed in its tweet that a new e-filing portal incometax.gov.in will be started on 7 June 2021. This new portal will replace the current portal incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. A mobile app will also be given in this new portal, which will tell the taxpayers how to use. It has also been told by the Income Tax Department that due to the launch of this new portal, the old portal will not work from June 1 to June 6.
The department has suggested to the taxpayers that they should not file their income tax from June 1 to June 6. The new portal will start from June 7, only after that the tax payers file income tax. The new portal has been designed in such a way that four refunds will be issued to taxpayers. The online process of filing taxes has also been simplified.
